What's With Dropping the (e) in Wayne?

As a young artist, I would sign my artwork "Wayn," without an e. To me it symbolized breaking out of traditional boundaries and removing the extraneous. I took my cue from the poet e.e. cummings, who wrote verse in lower-case.
Today, I practice the arts of code and design... and the artist's signature remains.
Incidentally, I aim toward the modern and the minimal in both code and design. Modern HTML5 features, minimalist design, and clean code are ideals that I aspire to and admire in the work of others.
